Zemana “web bug” in ScribeFire posts o.O

After writing my first post with the extension for Firefox, I noticed that it inserts a gathering “” (a small graphic tag that collects data) into my post. Due to the layout of my blog I immediately noticed the image and found info by googling it.
It kind of bewilders me that – without notice – “spies” on my users and my post behaviour. Not really a good piece of advertisement if you ask me.

For all those who want to turn that feature off, just visit the options of and switch it off.
